  • Listed as the No. 70 overall prospect in the nation and seventh-best prospect at receiver by Tom Lemming.
  • Named to the USAToday.com All-America squad and was BorderWars.com No. 8 receiving prospect in the South.
  • The Dallas Morning-News listed him on its national Top 100 list, while the Atlanta Journal-Constitution placed him on the Super Southern 100.
  • Earned "Mr. Football" honors in Kentucky after the 2000 season.
  • Top vote-getter for All-State on offense and a second-team selection as a defensive back.
