KJ Fundamental Football Clinic - Coach Hamilton

Joey now teaching and coaching high school football.

Went right into coaching after college due to injuries coaching the likes of

Chris Redman, Mike Bush, Montrell Jones, and Doug Beaumont at Male High School winning (3) State Championships as Defensive coordinator.

In college Joey was the first recruit of Howard Schnellenburger at the University of Louisville. Starting a tradition of local talent staying at home.

During Joey’s playing career he was a 3-year starter and 4-year letter winner at wide receiver and punt returner. Dynamic as a return specialists he ranked 6^th nationally (Ahead of Deion Sanders and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown of Notre Dame) during the 87’ campaign. And lead the team in yards per reception at 20.4 which is still 8^th all-time in school history. Also at one point Hamilton held the school record 30.5 yards per catch (5-152) for a single game. Still to this date top 5 in school history.
